I love what I do – but there are some projects I’m just so super proud to be involved in – and this is one of those. The story is compelling and the contrast in cultures is fascinating to see. But it’s also about two young girls who were adopted into loving families in different places – and how they and their families deal with that. In fact, a friend of mine who has adopted a daughter from China, was shown this documentary at her local library and contacted me later to tell me she’d seen it (it’s great when things like that happen!). The production company on this film is based in Montreal, Canada and one of the girls was adopted into a family in Toronto (the other remained in China). It’s a beautiful film and if you can watch the entire thing, I highly recommend it.
